Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the "Get truth" mobile application ("App") and all features, AI-powered tools, token-based functionality, and related services made available through the App.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of the service
The App allows you to search for publicly available information related to a person using a phone number, email address, or photo you choose to submit.
The App collects and organizes public data from open online sources and displays it in a structured format for your personal, informational use.
The App does not provide identity verification, background checks, credit reports, or access to private or restricted databases. All information displayed is based on publicly accessible sources.
2. Token system
The App operates on a token-based access model ("Tokens"). Tokens are required to initiate a search request and may be provided as part of a subscription plan or purchased separately through Apple’s in-app purchase system.
2.1 Definition and role of Tokens
Tokens are consumable digital units that allow the user to initiate a search request. Tokens have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, exchanged, or refunded.
2.2 Token consumption
A Token is deducted when a search request is submitted, regardless of whether the search returns public information. Token consumption occurs at the start of processing because system resources are utilized for every search request.
2.3 Token availability and purchases
Tokens may be:
allocated to the user on a recurring basis as part of a subscription, or
purchased separately as consumable in-app products.
All Token purchases are processed through Apple’s in-app purchase system and are subject to App Store billing policies.
3. AI-Powered insights and limitations
The App may use AI technologies to help analyze, categorize, or summarize publicly available information retrieved during a search. AI enhances the clarity and organization of public data but is not the sole component of the service.
The information returned from a search may not always be complete, accurate, or up to date.
All results are generated from publicly accessible online sources and are provided for personal, informational purposes only.
The App does not perform:
identity verification,
background checks,
credit, housing, employment, or insurance evaluations,
searches of private, confidential, or restricted databases.
You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use any insights produced by the App or its AI components.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for lawful and personal informational purposes. You may not use the App, its search capabilities, or any information obtained through the App to:
violate privacy or data protection laws,
harass, threaten, or cause harm to any individual,
attempt to obtain, access, or infer private, confidential, or non-public information,
perform or attempt to perform identity verification, background checks, or any regulated screening activities,
make decisions related to employment, housing, credit, insurance, or other regulated evaluations,
misrepresent the information returned by the App or use it in misleading or fraudulent ways,
submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content for search,
interfere with or disrupt the App’s operation, security, or infrastructure,
use bots, scraping tools, automation, or any unauthorized methods to access the App or perform searches.
The App is intended solely for lawful, personal use, and any misuse may result in suspension or termination of access.
5. Information you submit
When you submit a phone number, email address, or photo to the App, you confirm that you are using this information for personal and lawful purposes.
The App processes this information temporarily in order to perform a search and retrieve publicly available data. Unless you enable optional features such as saved history or stored results, this information is not retained after the search is completed.
You agree not to submit:
information obtained unlawfully or in violation of another person’s rights,
photos or data that you are not permitted to use,
content that is harmful, illegal, misleading, or infringing,
information about minors without appropriate authorization,
content intended to disrupt or misuse the App.
We may restrict or terminate access if submitted information violates these Terms or applicable law.
6. Subscriptions and paid features
The App offers subscription plans that include a recurring allocation of Tokens.Tokens provided as part of a subscription are credited to your account at the start of each subscription period, which may be weekly, monthly, annually, or any other period offered within the App. For annual plans, Tokens are credited on a monthly basis.
Once the included Tokens for a given period are used, you may purchase additional Tokens through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Purchasing additional Tokens is optional and does not affect the renewal or status of your subscription.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
All payments, including subscription fees and Token purchases, are processed by Apple and are subject to the App Store’s billing terms and policies. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or by App Store policies.
7. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction if higher, to access or use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
We may restrict or terminate access to the App if it determines that you do not meet the eligibility requirements or if your use violates these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
All rights, title, and interest in the App and its content belong to the respective rights holders. This includes the software, design, user interface, data organization, AI generated materials, graphics, text, and all features available within the App.
The App may use third party APIs and services. All rights to these technologies and any content they provide remain with their respective owners. Use of the App does not grant any rights or licenses to third party APIs or their intellectual property.
Users agree that they will not:
copy, distribute, modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the App or its content,
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or underlying mechanisms,
interfere with or bypass security features or access controls,
use any part of the App or its content for commercial or unauthorized purposes.
No rights or licenses are granted except for those explicitly provided in these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. No guarantees are made regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of the App or any information returned through a search. Public data and AI generated insights may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
The App does not guarantee that searches will return results, that results will match user expectations, or that the App will operate without interruptions or errors.
No information provided through the App should be considered factual verification of identity or used for legal, professional, or regulated purposes. Users are solely responsible for how they interpret and use any information obtained through the App.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is assumed for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App or inability to use the App.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from the use of the App, search results, AI generated insights, token usage, or the inability to access or use the App.
This includes any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages and applies even if the possibility of such damages was known or could have been anticipated.
No liability is assumed for decisions made or actions taken based on information obtained through the App. Users are solely responsible for evaluating all results and determining how to use them.
If any jurisdiction does not allow certain limitations, liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Modifications to the App
The App may evolve over time through updates and improvements. As part of this process, certain features may be added, adjusted, or removed. Changes may occur without prior notice, and continued use of the App means that you accept the App in its updated form.
12. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in the App or in applicable laws. Updated versions will be made available within the App. Continuing to use the App after the updated Terms take effect means that you accept the revised Terms.
13. Termination
Access to the App may be suspended or terminated at any time if a user violates these Terms or engages in behavior that interferes with the App or its services. Access may also be restricted if required by law or if continued use poses a risk to the App or other users.
Users may stop using the App at any time. If access is suspended or terminated, previously purchased Tokens or subscription periods are not refunded unless required by applicable law.
